4 healthy sweet snacks alternatives

Are you trying to eat healthier but ... are you afraid you have to give up all the sweets?
No need to worry anymore, there are many low calories alternatives that taste sweet without bringing the "baggage" of the extra kcals.

To be or not to be 

As a nutritionist, I often noticed that snacks are sometimes one of the most difficult aspects to control. We are not 100% aware/present when we are having a snack. Usually, when you are taking a break, your mind probably wanders off. At this exact moment, it is challenging to stay focused on the present.

Boring TV makes you overeat

The type of entertainment you are consuming will determine if you will indulge in more snacks. This discovery was made in 2010. A group of scientists studied the effect TV programs have on binge-eating. Turns out: if you are consuming uninteresting media, you will compensate by overeating.

What is your best sweet candidate?


Now it is time to pick your healthy snacks! It should have the following requirements:

- high amount of healthy fats (the ones that you need)
- high amount of fiber
- easy to prepare
- many combinations

Strawberry sweet toast:


Step one: toast your bread. Make sure you pick the dark wheat one as it contains more fiber. 
Step two: cover the base with homemade chocolate.
Step three: add as many strawberries as you want/can!

Step one: toast your bread. Make sure you pick the dark wheat one as it contains more fiber. 
Step two: cover the base with homemade chocolate.

𝟭) Make sure you have #ricepaper. Make it soft by adding some water on top and under. But don´t use too much water because it is very fragile.
𝟮) Add the ingredients you want to have under on the left side, while the main ingredient should be added on the right side..⁣
𝟯) Start from the top. Take carefully the rice paper and cover the ingredients. Do the same with the bottom part.⁣
𝟰) Now it is the turn of the left side. Take the rice paper and cover the ingredients. Roll everything slowly in the right direction till the end!
